For Coventry City Council’s Lythall’s Lane Industrial Estate, we created flexible spaces suited to a wide range of industrial uses, incorporating sustainable building methods and low-maintenance materials. Each unit is carefully planned to optimise workflows, meet regulatory standards, and provide cost-effective, long-term performance for clients and occupiers.

This is a wonderful new facility for the people of Bingham and Rushcliffe at a time new investment in our growing communities is so important. The Bingham community will benefit from this new site and with a prominent location right by the A46, it can be accessed by those further afield too. These buildings are a real flagship for green technologies too and we have invested in a carbon-clever and energy-efficient site.

A key challenge of the project was delivering such a wide range of needs within budget and producing a design that satisfied the planners for what is a new building within the green belt and adjacent to a country park. YMD Boon were always available to offer advice and guidance, their work with us on value engineering produced the financial benefits we needed and yet at the same time ensured that the design of the building was not compromised.
