The site, spanning approximately 8,200 sqm, previously housed a local authority depot with a mix of offices, warehouses, and workshops.
The development caters to a range of local housing needs, offering a mix of bungalows, 2-bedroom semi-detached homes, and 3-bedroom semi-detached homes. Ten of the properties were built facing Warwick Road, while the remaining homes are situated within a cul-de-sac featuring a shared outdoor area.
Of the 32 new homes, 16 are available for rent, and 16 are offered through shared ownership schemes. Each property includes a private garden and driveway, ensuring residents enjoy a comfortable and secure living environment. The open spaces were thoughtfully designed with the ‘street for all’ criteria in mind.
YMD Boon has a long-standing partnership with East Midlands Homes Group and is proud to have secured a place on their framework. The Group aims to boost its development output by 80% over the next four years, addressing the shortage of rural social housing in the area.
